It’s important to book your bridal preview after you have your dress and venue. The style of dress will help determine how you want your hair, and the overall vibe of the wedding will help you determine your hair and makeup look. ONTrend recommends 3-5 months prior to the wedding date. Please note we only offer bridal previews for booked brides.
ONTrend requires a 25% non-refundable retainer along with a signed contract.
Of course! Sara and the ONTrend Team recommend basing your 25% non-refundable retainer off the minimum number of services. Please note your party size must meet our minimum in order to book. We book parties of 4 or more including the bride.
Along with your ceremony time, our hair and makeup team will want to know what time your photographer is arriving and, if you are planning a “first look”. Once we know what time the photographer arrives this will help our team know when we need to have everyone ready by. Typically, we are finishing the last service as the photographer is arriving. They shoot the “getting ready photos” after you are all glammed and we can always put the brides back in our chair for those priceless lip touch- up moments for them to capture the essence of getting ready for the big day!!
We LOVE to know where your venue is but for contract purposes we mainly focus on the “getting ready location.” This is where you and your bridal party plan to get ready the morning of the wedding day. We will also discuss how much time you need to travel from the getting ready location to the venue if they are separate locations.
The bride doesn’t go last for hair and makeup because your look is the most important and the most intricate. Doing your hair and makeup in the middle of our timeline ensures that there’s ample time for any adjustments, touch-ups right before your first look or photos, and allows for any unexpected delays without being rushed. Additionally, the bride needs time to get dressed, and for photos and veil fitting so starting your beauty services earlier allows for more time to relax and enjoy the process!
Sara Ferguson and her team understand the importance of a well-organized day. That’s why we provide a personalized timeline for all of our brides. We’ll carefully plan out when each person should be styled, ensuring that everyone is ready on time and that the brides look is flawless. Our timeline takes the stress out of the process so you can focus on enjoying your special day!
Yes, We require a bridal preview for several reasons. It ensures you are completely happy with your look before the big day. It gives you the chance to experiment with your inspiration pictures to see what tweaks may be needed to make you feel like the best version of yourself. A preview also helps the artist and stylist to understand your preferences, skin type, hair texture which leads to a more customized and flawless result on your wedding day. It’s an opportunity to make adjustments, address any concerns, and ensure you feel confident and beautiful when it matters most.
We require plenty of table space, near outlets. If your getting ready space does not have ample lighting, we ask that you communicate this with us, and we can plan to bring lighting. A barstool height chair is preferred for makeup and a normal dining chair for hair. Please always communicate hotel room numbers with us the day before your wedding. Please check if your venue has a restriction on what time we can start services. Some don’t allow us in before 9am which for larger parties is considered a later start time. We highly encourage our brides getting ready at hotels to book a conference room as an option to allow more room whilst getting ready.
